Dunfermline Athletic have today announced the retirement of manager Jim Jefferies

The club have immediately started their search for a new manager

The bookies favourite is Neil McCann, Dunfermline's assistant manager

Others include **** Campbell, Colin Cameron and Gary Naysmith

In a surprise turn of events Dunfermline Athletic have appointed virtually unknown manager Thomas Watson as their manager

This came as a surprise to many fans and media alike.

Dunfermline are currently in a financial state where they have just came out of administration and haven't got any money to waste on players

Dunfermline Athletic have also suffered two back to back relegation in which the board hope that Thomas can get them straight back up to the Scottish Championship

1st Season Aims

1: Play-off place
2: Keep the finances in the black
3: Hold on to the club's best players

We really shouldn't of lost the Ayr game but the Stenhousemuir game our main keeper Ryan Scully got injured

So after winning 4 out of our 7 matches during the 2 months we have pushed up to 2nd
