Dutch Jupiler Help

Hi,

I started an unemployed career and went to AGOVV in Holland.

In the Dutch Jupiler and im around 22 games in and its January.

However, some teams already have a PL sign next to them and im unsure as to why, they haven't won a cup final as of yet but have got this playoff symbol ... One team is even mid table and near relegation, any explanations?

I think it is because if you're at #1 at any quarter you get a free play off spot.
