Dzeko and Pato coupling

I have a main strike partnership of Pato and Dzeko as the name suggests but i want to get the most out of them together, I've currently set Dzeko to a complete forward and Pato as a poacher although he seems to stray off the the wing a lot. I've set his passing to short, not to shoot from range, not to play through balls, not to drop deep to collect and his attacking bar right up, and not to drift from position yet he still always seems to go out wide. Any advice welcome how i can pair these two together to get the most out of them.

i have dzeko i put him as deep laying foward,he scores alot and assit.then i put pato as advance foward and he seems to be doing fine.give it a try and let me know.

Dzeko is a target man because of his ability to head the ball and his size. Pato is a great poacher alongside dzeko, he will score loads with dzeko getting a lot of goals plus assists

Pato works wonders for me at Advanced Forward, and as I play with no wingers it works to my advantage when he drifts out wide. in the process of signing Dzeko, but I'm worried he'll flop due to his high price, and Huntelaar's decent scoring record. Target Man btw.
