Yea Edward I think your right. But we'll see how things go.

May.
Inverness CT 1-0 Patrick Thistle.
We went into this game as slight underdogs but I am still dissapointed to lose. Not a horrible performance, but could have been better.
Patrick Thistle 2-1 Dundee.
Again we were slight underdogs for this match but managed to get 2-0 up by 65 minutes. Unfortunatly Dundee grabbed a consolation goal on 74 minutes but werent able to get back on level terms despite long spells of control.
May wasnt too bad with an good victory against Dundee. Thats the end of the season, bring on 2010/11.
No outstanding players or goals this month so Il not give awards for giving awards sake.
We finished this season in 6th. I hope to better that next season, and may, just maybe, challenge for a place in the play offs. Who should I get to improve my squad with no money? Thanks

Transfers.
Marc Kalenga.
DM.
Free Transfer.
I had tried to bring this player to East Stirlingshire but he wouldnt come. I was short of quality in that position and Marc should be good enough .
Alexander Kacaniklic.
AML
Loan from Liverpool.
This is another place where I am short of quality. Marc should be quality for my team.
James Chester.
DC
Free Transfer from Manchester United.
This was one of the reminances of the previous regime at the club. Personally I am very pleased to have this player. At only 21 years of age he is the best centre back in the squad.
Ciro Immobile.
ST.
Loan from Juventus.
Ciro is much much better than my other strikers and I hope he can score loads this season. This would seriously help our run for promotion.
Ally Love.
DL.
Loan from St Mirren.
I lack quality in DL so Love was the perfect signing. I had tried to sign McEveley but he rejected us for Bohemians.
I think that should round up any signings for this time round. Do you think I was right to go for loans or should I have tried to sign on proper contracts. Remember I have no money.

Sir Alex Ferguson Expects Big Things.
Hello Alex.
Good afternoon.
This will be your first full season in charge of The Jags Mr Ferguson. After your 4 matches in charge last season, how do you see things going?
Well what I saw of last season I firmly beleive this club has a chance of promotion, given the right signings of course.
Of your signings who do you think will make the biggest impact on your season?
I think James Chester can help us alot, I also beleive Petrucci and Immobile can work wonders going forward. Aside from that, I expect everyone at the club to work hard and put in a good performance. For this club to progress it will take alot of effort from EVERYONE. Not just 3 or 4 players.
Are you looking into any more signings Alex?
No I don't think we need too many more people. I think we are strong enough in most areas of the squad, but if I see someone that would strengthen us immencly I will look into signing them.
So Alex, in summary, where do you see your club finishing the season.
I would like to think, come May time we would be challenging for at least the play offs.
And how do you think you would fair in the play offs?
They would be undoubtedly difficult, but if the team pulls together and works their ***** off we would have a chance of getting through them. We'll see how things go.
Well Thankyou and goodluck for the coming season Sir Alex.
Thankyou very much.

July.
Anaan 4-3 Patrick Thistle. (Challenge Cup First Round.)
We went into this game against third division out fit Anaan expecting to knock a few goals past them. The goals flowed in the first half as we went into the break 3-2 up. The second half was a different story however as Anaan turned the game on its head to win 3-4. Very dissapointing as we were expected to be amongst the front runners for the competition.
Anaan 0-2 Patrick Thistle. (Scottish League Cup 1st Round.)
We are easy favourites for this match but that means nothing as we have seen in the Challenge Cup vs Anaan. I hope The Jags can set the record straight in this match.
Immobile put us into the lead on 56 minutes. The ref grants our claims for a foul in the box and points to the spot. Steve Lovell duly steps up and finishes it off. Not a great performance, but its always good to get a win and set the record straight. Shame we couldn't have recorded this result last time out.
July Player of the Month: David Petrucci.
The loanee turned out two great performances during the month, setting up a good amount of chances.
No goal of the month as there was no great goals to award.
