Edin Dzeko wins Man City Player of the Month for January.

Seems like they put this in his contract to make him feel at home and pleased with himself. How Tevez didnt win this is an absolute joke. Although the clubs player of the month are not that prestigous.
 
to me it does not mean anything if not given to the right person
 
I guess it's easier to give it to your big name signing than it is to give it to a player who actually deserves it, although if City did take their Player of the month seriously it would never leave Tevez's house, not that he carries them or anything ;)

I can only hope Liverpool follow suit and give theirs to Carroll!

Probably ded up of going it to Tevez, and its probably just a confidence boost for the new signing no doubt
