What do you mean? Do you mean how do you save as compressed .dbc files?
Go Settings > Compress Editor Data Files

no when i download the editors they are XML files and you cant use them and i need to change them to editors

They should have the extension .XML

Have you loaded the data editor correctly? Press File >> Load Database >> Load Editor Data

So save them to the folder listed in the instructions in the download.

instructions on how to install

1. Press the download button and press save
2. Save it to somewhere like desktop..
3. Then extract the file using a program like winrar to Documents/ Sports Interactive/ Football Manager 2011/ Editor data
3. If there is not an Editor data folder... create one
4. Launch FM11..Start a new game and click change database (Bottom Right Corner of the box that appears)
5. Select the Database then its the usual stuff from then on

are xml files the compressed version of the dbc files then?
No the other way around. dbc files are compressed .xml files.

@ Footy - My bad. I wasn't quite sure what you where asking.

cant download 7zip is there any way without downloading programs

Either open 7zip via the start menu and then open the file and extract
or
Right click the file and go 'open with' and choose 7zip and then extract.
