Hey guys,

Basically, fancied an Editing project and so I picked this.

I've used the top 400 teams from Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England and brought them altogether into a league structure consisting of 20 leagues. For you budding mathematicians out there, that means each league consists of 20 teams.

Would appreciate ideas on the following:
- Name of Leagues (Sponsors?)
- Which cups to have
- Is 20 leagues enough?
- I was thinking that maybe in the higher leagues have 3 Promo/Relegation places but in the lower leagues have 4. Thoughts?

As always, I appreciate feedback and any comments you may have.

Here is the beta. Would hugely appreciate any comments anyone may have, so ANY testers at all would be loved forever.

Cheers,
Eds.

That is a huge project. Is 20 leagues enough? XD more than enough. I'd go about naming the divisions as they stand - First Division, Second Division etc. - to save confusion. But that's up to you :)

EDIT: I'd definitely download.

Cheers Mike.

At this moment in time, they're actually named:

Great British Premier League
Great British League 1
Great British League 2
etc etc.

Was just thinking of putting a sponsor name in instead of "Great British". Could just use "Aviva", I suppose.

And cheers for the comment.

Was going to take a load and do a fancy little introduction when I've completely finished (which I haven't yet).

do a cup for each country then one big cup FA Cup style with bigger teams entering later and make this really prestigious with large prize funds. do 3 promo and relegation for all leagues. 400 teams is enough. Make it the British Isles league maybe because we Irish do not like being considered Great British

Have Prem as 1 sponsor ie Aviva
then next three as say coca-cola 1,2,3
next 4 say Pepsi 1,2,3,4
etc
Cups could be named as well ie Virgin FA cup, Texaco League cup etc

If 20 leagues are to much on processer then do sub divisions after level 6
Sounds good Db will download and a take a look when I have a bit of time.

Whadda you guys reckon about that?

You need a decent sponsor, as the EPL has barclays , you could do it around banks such as The Nationwide Premier League or the "Santander Premier League.

Very much welcome to ideas on the sponsors.

Yeah, that'l work for Leagues 2-10. Now need one for the Premier League-League 1 and Leagues 11-19.

Sports Interactive Premier League :P
