Finally arriving to Rome airport, excited to be in the city, and for what to play football. Its a really messy airport, nothing is right, and there are many mistakes, I did not know where to get my luggage. After hours of looking, I decided to ask one of the guys that work here.
'I am sorry I can not seem to find my luggage, I just arrived from Madrid'
'They are all gone thru belt 7, whats your name sir?'
'Eduardo Sanchez'
'You are the young kid signing for Lazio?'
'Yes that would be me'
'Sorry sir, your luggage was sent on a different jet so it gets here fast, let me go get them for you'
I cant believe someone knew the reason I was here for, he found my luggage and I thanked him. He wished me good luck in Lazio, and it was an honor to meet me. Seriously I am nobody, I am just a kid from the streets coming to play football here. I am not Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi. I finally got out of the airport.
I was looking for Zarate since he confirmed he will come pick me up.Dam this airport is confusing, I finally got a call, and it was Zarate maybe he saw me.
'Eduardo, I am outside in the parking area, just go out and you will see me'
'Alright, thanks for comming'
Trying to find how to get out of the airport, I finally did it was right in front of me.This airport really needs some signs, and they have to clean it up. Anyways I finally got out, and I was looking for Zarate, I saw many people around a car and I noticed inside was Zarate. He got out and helped me with my bags, and he was happy to see me.
Next stop is the stadium, he will show it to me, and after we will go to his apartment, This guy is really nice, and with him speaking Spanish, he will help me understand. I promised Alexis I will call him when I am here but I will do it when I am at Zarate's apartment.
