After a few defeats, I was forced to make a change, and it’s great to see a tactic with strikers that actually works.

But i can give you something that will make this thread go to ****. How about a network game ? You use this **** tactic and i will use a default formation one ?! After one season we will both post the results and see how your GREAT tactic fairs against a default one.

All of GYR's tactics are good. Please go to his thread and ask questions about it. I will happily reply. This is another creators thread and its not ok to do it in here.

I checked your Millwall save on FM26 and noticed a few key issues that are holding the team back:

  • You’re using 4–5 different formations in a single season. That makes it very hard for players to learn roles and build consistency.
  • Team management is poor at the moment. Many players are constantly tired — after every match they should be rested for at least 2 days.
  • You still have a lot of unregistered players in the squad. They should be sold or released because they only damage morale and finances.
  • There are several unhappy players, which directly affects performances on the pitch.
  • Individual training is handled by the assistant manager. That’s a mistake — you need to control this yourself so players are trained in the exact positions and roles required by your tactic.
My honest suggestion, since this is still only halfway through the first season, is to start a new save from the beginning.
Choose one tactic you like, build the squad around it, manage the team properly, and trust the process.

There’s no point playing like this and hoping that some miracle tactic will suddenly fix everything.

I’m always here to help and give advice. I’m not criticising — I just want to help people who have real passion for this game, same as I do.

I don't know about tactics, but about 157 saves - I would recommend saving before each match, after my game flew out during the match, and I had to rematch for a whole month.

So I've experimented with a few changes. 1st change was dropping to a strikerless, with 2 AMs flanking the SS (with both set to stay wider). 30 games unbeaten with a 1st season Bournemouth side. Recovered from 12th to 2nd in the league and won the FA Cup.
2nd season and as I always do, started tinkering in January. 3 poachers and changed the AM to a channel midfielder. Outside poachers on stay wider. Loving it so far, I think it really compliments the Ultra Direct style of play.
