Pre-2001 Eminem was far greater than Lil Wayne, but tbh Post-2001 Eminem is just as poor as Lil Wayne.
 
Up until The Eminem Show, Eminem was great, ever since, he's declined massively.
Lil Wayne has never been that good, to be honest.
The only well-known rap artist I still respect (As someone who predominantly listens to metal) is Jay-Z. Although, I have to say that the best stuff isn't so well-known... Immortal Technique. Listen to them.
 
i would say eminem, just because when you listen to lil wayne on the music channels you cant listen to the song because of all the swearing.
 
In the past few years Lil Wayne has done much more than Eminem
But they are quite different rappers

In my opinion i like Wayne better
 
Eminem, don't like Lil Wayne. Prefer old style rap, Eazy-E, 2Pac, Biggie and I ******* love Afroman :)

in my opinion i would put Eminem up there with Eazy-E, Tupac And Biggie
 
Eminem easily his just an absolute genius with the way he delivers his lyrics is just pure legendary.

He Is The Biggest selling artist Of the decade, and yeah, One Of the Biggest of all time :)

wayne Is Just a Blip On Em's Radar :P
 
People only like Lil Wayne because he's more mainstream then others
 
I would have to say Eminem but only cos i can actually name one of his songs :)
I dont see the appeal of rap music at all, i appreciate that there is a talent to writing a rap but it is not a form of music and it is killing off rock just because little kids think it's cool to drink, take drugs and slap a ho:D come to think of it rap is just rock without the music

lol, Eminem IS better than Wayne. Because, if you are talking rap-wise, Lil Wayne is 0, and this is quite known/seen (who the f*ck would want to suck his "lollipop"?) and listened, he uses and abuses the auto-tuner. Lies on lyrics, etc etc etc. i agree, em has done some great things, but he can not be compared to the real great ones. cba to mention them all, but for a nice start listen to jedi mind tricks 8-|
