I changed FB automatic to CWB support cuz of attack...
if u want u can change forwards...I mean u can experiment:D

Thing is, currently he has shifted the formation towards 4-3-3 more.

Looking forward to see how this is progressing on the new patch, now that the full backs are fixed. Love a defensively solid tactic!

i currently use the tactic in my Atletico Madrid save but without yout PI as you didn't show them and some minor changes in the roles
in the first season without any transfers (lost Tiago and Gimenez in january) iv'e won the league, CL, lost the cup in the final

bottom of line this tactic is the big deal im in love with it

What role changes did you make

Do you get your strikers help the defence? I hate it when they sit and watch when the opponent has the ball. Close down more etc. doesn't really help it. Other than that tactic looks great. Spot on observations for the way Atleti play really.

The way I used to engage them defensively in FM15 was to assign both my strikers to man mark oppositions' center midfielders (or DMs).

That way they drag themselves back more (roles being DLF and DF anyway), and put pressure on opponents' midfielders (and not CBs which is useless in the ME anyways). Also, in offense they move forward from the deep along with the team as a unit.

This way your own center-mids will boss the midfield. Tried this with San Marino in Serie C, Pescara in Serie A, and ofcourse my beloved Atletico winning Sextuple.

Apart from real life observation, the following 2 links can be your inspiration.

Trying to emulate the same in FM16 at the moment with Foggia (Serie C).

Do you play on defensive all the time?
Yes. Defensive is more like a less aggressive counter mentality. You sit back, but you can still hit teams on the break. I'm going to try to revisit setting up a defensive tactic later. Looking at going FBSx2, CBx2, DMDx2, WMSx2, AMCS and DLFA
