So, I'm deciding to try and building this tactic on my own

The original tactic was something like this

-----------GK-------------
-----------SW------------
---LCB*----CB----RCB*---
-----------DM------------
--------------------------
------LCM-----RCM-------
--------------------------
--------------------------
---LW-----ST--------RW--

It was more symmetrical, defensive and rigid than the later Italian Catenaccio.

But my main problem when adapting this to FM14 is the four defenders block:

- If I use 1 SW and 3 CB, I think the opposite wingers may kill me with ease from the flanks.
- But if I use 1 SW, 1 CB and 2 limited FBs, I think it may leak from the center. Any possible solutions for this? Maybe ask the 2 Limited Fullbacks to stay narrower and behave more like CBs?

What about using the DMC as CB? You can use a CB as cover and the other as stopper, so the CB wouldn't be so necessary.

I ve read that sit narrower works is an "attack-possesion only" instruction.

I ve also read that HB works good with one CD behind.

I think its better if you play with three CDs with the two in the sides being Stoppers and Closing down more.
