Xavier almost send Metalist ahead with a cracking shot but it was saved by Mandanda. Modric send in a corner which found the head of Michael Dawson with him badly sending it over. Xavier had another chance but blew it straight over the bar. Van Der Vaart then took a Vicious shot but abit too much sending it over. Vagner Love then broke the dead lock after 21 Minutes with a lovely finish to score his first ever goal for Tottenham. Dawson and Van Der Vaart then had two great chances but both went straight over. Modric sent Tottenham 2-0 up with a lovely finish into the bottom corner. Kot almost pulled one back but his hit off the bar.


Lennon then had his rebound easily by the Metalist goalkeeper. Van Der Vaart then took a fierce shot which went straight sending Tottenham 3-0. Lennon had a great chance to send Tottenham 4-0 up but the Metalist goalkeeper saving again. Van Der Vaart send in a lovely corner to find Dawson but was sent over the bar. Xavier had a great chance with his free kick just going over. Another Xavier shot left Mandanda making a great save. It seems Xavier has caught the eye of Holland but it seems he wont sign though to his 10 Million price tag.
