Ruben Loftus-Cheeks lack of appearances for Chelsea means an England call-up remains unlikely for the time being according to Skysports.com. The 23 year old attacking midfielder’s lack of appearances for Chelsea will have done nothing to convince Rands that Loftus-Cheek deserves to retain his place.

Callum Wilson’s impressive form for Bournemouth should earn him a return to the England squad, according to Skysports. The 26 year old striker’s superb performances for Bournemouth have not gone unnoticed by the English media and Wilson looks certain to win a recall. Wilson has been in fair form for Bournemouth this season, hitting the target with 43 of his Shots, and scoring 12 goals in 25 appearances.

Adam Lallana’s form for Liverpool should see him come into the reckoning for an England call-up, according to Maxifoot. England manager Logan Rands will surely not have failed to be impressed by the performances the 30 year old attacking midfielder has been turning in for the Reds. Lallana has caught the eye for Liverpool this season, winning 13 tackles and recording a 75% pass completion ratio in 18 appearances.

Liverpool have been rocked by the news that ball-playing defender Joe Gomez could be out for the rest of the season after sustaining damaged cruciate ligaments during their match against Man City. Sources inside the club revealed that the 21 year-old Central Defender now faces the misery of being sidelined for at least 8 months. Gomez had played well for Liverpool this season, recording 18 key tackles and winning 113 tackles overall in 32 appearances.

Logan Rands will name his squad for for England Under 20s European Elite League clash against Germany Under 20s and Italy Under 20s on 15th March, but he faces an anxious wait for the latest medical bulletins. Rhian Brewster and Reiss Nelson will definitely miss out through injury while doubts remain over the fitness of Lloyd Kelly and Reece Oxford. England Under 20s will also be without the services of Ben Wilmot who is Suspended. There is some good news however with Phil Foden reportedly fit to play after shaking off a recent injury.

Logan Rands will face a couple of selection problems when he names his England squad to face Iceland and Kosovo on 15th March. Joe Gomez will definitely miss out through injury although there are no further injury worries to report at this stage. There is some good news however with Kyle Walker reportedly fit to play after shaking off a recent injury.

Logan Rands will be faced with a selection headache on 15th March when he comes to select his England Under 21s squad to face Sweden Under 21s and Republic of Ireland Under 21s. Ben Godfrey, Ben Wilmot and Reiss Nelson will definitely miss out through injury while doubts remain over the fitness of Josh Earl, Lloyd Kelly and Reece Oxford. There is some good news however with Phil Foden reportedly fit to play after shaking off a recent injury.

Logan Rands:
A fantastic first set of fixtures with all team winning. The Under 20s winning the Elite League was a brilliant achievement. England’s First Qualifying win was amazing to watch and the under 19s warmed up for their 2nd Qualifying Round with another good win. As a nation we are showing we do have the young players coming through the ranks and I’m hopeful we can keep winning tournaments at all levels.

Logan Rands:
A very good set of international games with the first team making sure they start their Qualifying the right way by taking maximum points in both their games. The Under 19s got their 2nd Qualifying Round off to the perfect start and have two more games before they are released back to their clubs. The Under 20s finished the Elite League off unbeaten and were deserving winners whilst also giving England their first trophy under my management. The Under 21s continued warming up for their European Championships with another win and are showing good form. The squad is starting to take shape and my only tough decision is whether any younger players deserve to get into the final squad.
The big disappointment is Mason Mount suffering a broken Ankle and he may not be fit enough to take part in the European Championship which is heart breaking for him.

England Under 20s have qualified from group A in the U20 World Cup
The European team will be delighted to be able to relax a little, having qualified with a game in hand from Group A.

England have announced the 23 man squad for the U21 European Championships.
The five players missing out from the preliminary squad are;
Josh Maja (Injured), Jacob Bedeau, Josh Tymon, Mitch Clarke and Andrew Fisher.
Logan Rands:
Always a tough process to narrow a squad down and Josh Maja’s injury is a blow but I believe in the squad selected. With two warm up games before the competition starts on the 16th June 2019 the squad has plenty of time to gel before we get into the group games.

On a hot summer’s evening at Henryk Reyman City Stadium, France Under 20s Dan-Axel Zagadou lived the dream of many a supporter as he lifted the U20 World Cup after England Under 20s 0-2 penalty loss to France Under 20s.
Defensive midfielder Jean-Clair Todibo gave France the lead with a good header from just inside the six-yard box in the 53rd minute. The decision to disallow an 85th minute England goal proved most controversial amongst the team’s supporters. With France already beginning to celebrate, advanced forward Ben Brereton then scored a penalty placed into the bottom left corner in injury time to ****** the equaliser for England. Better late than never for England and the fans were clearly delighted with Brereton’s impact.
In the shootout that followed it was left to Todibo to keep a cool head and smash home the winning penalty for France.

Dwight McNeil has spoken of his disappointment at missing from the penalty spot during England U20s 0-2 U20 World Cup final penalty loss against France U20s, but insists he would take another one.
McNeil told the media that he was determined to put the decisive shootout miss behind him and was confident he could step up and take one again if needed.

It’s testament to the incredible work being done at England Under 20s that all three award winners belong to the club.

Ben Brereton has won the Under 20 World Cup Golden Shoe for his performances with England Under 20s.
Brereton has been the top striker in the Under 20 World Cup this season, scoring 10 goals.
Moise Kean (Italy) finished level with Gabriel Kyeremateng (Ghana) but claimed the runner-up spot by virtue of having the least playing time.

Syria U20s were today announced as the winners of the Under 20 World Cup Fair Play award. The award was given by football’s world governing body.
The award is won by the team with the least yellow and red cards, where a red card is taken to be the equivalent of three yellow cards.
Closely following winner Syria U20s, were England U20s in second place and in third place Poland U20s.

Logan Rands:
England continued their fantastic qualifying campaign with another win which gives us a very good chance of qualifying for European Championships.
England Under 19s were amazing in the first of two Warm Up games and are looking ready for their European Championships.
England Under 20s did brilliantly to get to the final of the World Cup and were unlucky to only take runners up medals away but the lads can be extremely pleased with their performances. Ben Brereton showed what a talent he is to the world and Blackburn are very lucky to have him. A clean sweep in the Golden Ball awards was an amazing achievement and the lads are now preparing to defend their Elite League title.
Next up is the Under 21s European Championships in which I have high hopes of doing well and this is quickly followed by the Under 19s European Championships where again we have high hopes. A very busy time for England on all levels.

Logan Rands:
The Under 19s did very well in their final warm up game and are looking strong.
The Under 21s had a very disappointing tournament after impressing in qualifying and their warm up games. France seem to be our bogey team at all levels although we didn’t play as we know we can.
The Under 19s are up next with their European U19 Championship and again we have high hopes.
