What a contradiction. Rio should not be picked coz of his poor form, and Gerrard should be playing off Rooney coz?? He had wonderful season? Going by that he shouldnot be anywhere near the squad.

I hope Joe gets at least 1 game at the World Cup even if it is against Algeria. It will give him even more confidence and will give him some experience of the occasion for 4 years time when in my opinion he will be Englands number 1.

i would much prefer to see Hart playing in the team.

James purely on experience -- though wouldn't mind if Hart started.

King giving defensive cover and good composure in midfield allowing Lampard to be more forward thinking. Milner and J.Cole switching wings every so often to keep the opposition on their toes, and Gerrard playing as an extremely advanced midfielder supporting Wayne Rooney.

Lots of pace etc... on the bench to bring on when the Americans tire towards the end.

Hope players don't underestimate the opposition -- U.S.A. are a very compact and efficent side.​
