England World Cup team slection fault?

I was due to play a friendly game with England, I was asked to confirm my 26 man squad, I kept it to 23 because I knew I needed to select a 23 man squad a few days after, but the computer still put 3 random names in my squad to fill the squad out? (highlighted in grey below on the screen shot)

Then another message appeared asking me to confirm 23 man squad for the world cup and I couldn't because every time I de-select a squad member, a random squad member appears in his place for the friendly game (highlighted in gray on the screen shot below).

Because of the Friendly game, and the random players selected to fill a 26 man squad for a friendly, I can't select a squad for the world cupThe only way I can get round it is to resign my club job and England job because your only allowed to resign from the club job first, it's a nightmare!

Thoughts anyone or solutions?

Doesn't work, you need to get pass the message screen, but the team selection message is one of those ones you can't ignore, you must respond and I can't…

Have you tried it? Similar messages which need a response are bypassed by holidaying on the full version of the game, the response is handled by your assistant and all problems go away. i'm no handheld expert though.

I can resign the England job separate, so I can continue the club job but it's so frustrating that I'll have to wait ages or never even manage the England team again… and when I re-apply for the job, they dismiss my application. It's not real anyway but still annoying

Promote some players as you don't have 23 as grey ones are fill players not real ones.
