English Hero achievement - A few questions

So, im trying to get FC Halifax from the BSN/S to the Premier League, and so far, im in my first season and top of the table after about 20 games. One of those games though, I had a touchline ban. Am I still able to get this achievement? As I dont fancy playing for so long and not getting it.

Also, if I play the game a few times in offline mode, will I still be credited for it?
