English Premier Division Network Game

I'm looking to set up a network game on Football Manager 2013, playing in the EPL (Liverpool).
I'm new to Network gaming so I'm unsure as to how it works but I'm free most evenings for a couple of hours to play, especially up until the end of September.
My time-zone is GMT (British time) - not sure if that's important or not.
