EPL Team of the season (GK)

Well i thought i would start a vote on the team of the season and do a vote for every position

Might aswell start with the goalkeepers.

Shay Given, clearly Newcastle's best player this year and has been in top form all season long.

I Have to agree with Wes, He has been outstanding all season in what has been mixed for Newcastle.

Ive went for Lehmann, probabaly not thee best, but the improvement in him and his influence over his inexperienced back four has been imense.

Chose Lehmann but it was close with Reina

Went for Petr Cech, if Van der Sar could of kept up is good form at the start of season throughout he would of got my vote but he didnt so Cech gets it.

Chose Lehmann i think hes been a great stopper between the sticks in the premiership and in europe so hes the man for me

I voted Petr Cech, still the best GK in the prem.
I like Reina hes class 4 his age.
Don't like Lehmann much.

Lehmann has done well but I cant stand his attitude, I would love to see a ref show him a red card so he clues in a little. Still Given.

jose pepe reina has been amazing this season and has supported liverpools great defence, which has allowed us to get to 3rd, only 1 point behind utd.
next season rafa will bring even more success!

Given, ***** defence had to be on his toes all season :lol:

I chose Reina.
He's been immense in goal keeping 20+ Clean sheets all season.


Was close with Big Edwin though
Cech was abit of a let down this year, in MY opinion
Lehmann did well i must admit, but he fumbles way too much.
Given was also a really close contender but Reina came out on top for me.
Robinson made some crucial saves too but once again i felt Reina was better overall.
