Error when trying to play

I downloaded Football Manager 2012 on steam and after playing it for a couple of days a clicked on it to play it, it came up with a message saying...
'Steam - Error
This game is currently unavailable.
Please try again at another time.'

Can anyone help

Last time I had that which was a while back, I gave it half an hour then want back on it and worked perfectly fine.

Last time I had that, FM was updating... At least I think so.

Should work again soon

When I got that error I just deleted the game and re-downloaded. worked like a charm.
But supposedly just verifying the game files should also help.
