I cant argue that his movement in the channels was superb. But than again, with his timing and his speed, few players in the world can do it as well as he does, and he never really lost it. Its his finishing and overall confidence thats a problem.

Indeed, which is why I think he will take some heart from this, considering at one point his selection for this tournament was under threat.

Im shocked, at liverpool it was defensive, defensive, defensive.. the reason why i slated Hodgson appointment so much... just hope the 2 up top stay 2, and not switching Welbeck out wide and playing 4-5-1
 
Really excited about tonights game now, like CJACKO11 said good to see hodgson is open to changing things.
 
I think Chelsea will be very dangerous this season, dunno if they'll title challenge but they'll be in a very comfy champs league spot. I can see Torres in for a big season (and I'm not just reacting to the Ireland game), I think he is getting his legs back and his confidence too over the last month or so. Strange that he has started to play better at the same time Carroll has too.

If Hulk joins and Hazard gets off to a good start, they'll be formidable upfront.

I think if we can sign Modric then i believe we will have as good a starting 11 as Utd and City if the team lines up as, Cech, Ivanovic, JT, Luiz, Cole, Mikel, Modric, Ramires, Mata, Hazard and Torres. Frightening, full of pace, versatality and end product.


Yesterday i get a tweet back from Andy Brassell and today i get one back from Graham Hunter, love this tweeting malarky!

I do not think our starting 11 is even that good at the moment (United). We definitely need a versatile destroyer type CM and a better LB. Having said all that Nani has impressed me for Portugal in this tournament, hopefully he can carry this form to the new season.

So we need 2 players. Our starting line up is very strong. Now we will have that fluidity back as well
 
City, united and Chelsea have very strong starting 11's... It's the better squad that usually wins the league

Want to get back on track with the euros, but the only reason we stuck with city was becuase of our squad, we had so many injuries, if we had not had the depth we would have fallen away.
