Podolski, 27, starts for Germany. He will become the youngest ever European player to reach 100 caps for their country.
 
Marwijck should have named this team from the beginning, Vdv and Huntelaar should be playing, and by playing Van Bommel and De Jong it was too cautious!

Cant say i agree, other than unavoidable, isolated mistakes i really like refering so far. The games are run smoothly without unnecesary interruptions with ref trying to become a star.

I also like how refs don't tolerate contesting their decisions. Surrounding the ref Barca-style, BS that has plagued stadiums for last couple of years, has been mostly eliminated.

Way too strict almost a no contact sport now, its a joke... giving yellows for no reason which then puts pressure on the themselves not to send people off late on, think the standard has been quite poor
 
Great flick on header by Bendtner and a man who is making sure people know who he is Krohn Dehli. And i was just about to say Ronaldo is tarring Van Der Wiel a new one and he just scored haha. At last he gets me points for my dream team haha.
 
Lol, I'd literally put £2 on Ronny scoring next 10 seconds before he did.

Yeah he us tearing apart VDW and Nani is handling right side of the attack.

Netherlands got the balance wrong, VDV and De Jong is not working and defensively very weak.
 
Seriously canno't believe another Denmark goal puts Germany out!!!
 
Holland have been awful. Defence was the problem, but even their Attack have looked shocking...
 
I feel sorry for the Denmark, had a great tournament and with just a little more luck they could have reach the 1/4. Ah well, go go Portugal, go go Nani.

They have had zero shape, that has been their downfall; it meant their attack has faltered, and their defence left horribly exposed.

well, this is our style of play,the defensive one,we were always in history outnumbered so,defending was the casual thing to do, so,just ''invent'' something,to beat it :)
 
Dutch played three at the back... I know that they had to change something but when you have Nani and Ronaldo exploiting the flanks it was tactical suicide, that goal didn't surprise anyone I don't think.

Dutch played 4, moved to three later on when they needed too?
 
Anyone else think Robben is highly over rated? Whenever I've watched him he's been ****. So one dimensional
