Would be very sensible move by Loew. Its not like those are no-name replacements.

Klose in particular is always dangerous, people were already saying he's too old in 2010, and how did that end up? The goal he scored vs. England was just world class.

Greece is very poor (see what i did there?) They just barely came out of weakest group in the tournament, the goalkeeper in particular is a joke, and i doubt Germans will be as dreadful as finishing as teams they faced in group stages.

The thing I love about the knockout stages is that it is one match-90 mins of football where anything can happen. Past form usually flies out the window although Germany have the momentum going into the match and ask any World Cup/Euro winner and they will tell you the importance of momentum in a knock-out tournament

But you never know. Greece might hold firm with some luck and snag a goal in a set piece... Do not think the result is as clear-cut as some people make out. It never is in the knock-out stages

Thats just Silly. There is plenty of time to sleep inbetween all of them games, even if a few hours here and there

Not surprising imo. There are reports all the time in the Far East of people who dont sleep because they are addicted to video games and stuff. Its a pretty serious problem here tbh. I guess they had to be one or two who would do the same for football

I would stay up for the Euro's aswell, but id make sure i had SOME sleep in between, ate properly and drank properly..

Obviously but you would be surprised at the number of people here in Asia who would not. The most pressing issue is video game addiction. They have so many freakin facilities to help those type of people here its unbelievable. Some of them would play like 20-23 hours a day only stopping to go to the toilet or to eat/drink

Quite even then, Gerrard has been absolutely superb so far though, hope he continues it on Sunday against the Italians.
Big difference is Not only is Gerrard matching him Attacking wise, but he does it defensively aswell, 13 tackles, correct me if wrong but the most in the tournament i heard

I havent saw Gerrard play this well for a few years now...
well he had to also go for work later in the morning XD

12 Hours work, 6 hours for 2 games... 18 hours... 24 Hours in a day, still pretty stupid...

.

According to whoscored.com, he is 4th best, tied for 3rd spot. Eugen Polanski made 16 tackles.

This could get embarrasing,

And the keeper is keeping up his record of being absolutely awful.

Your right mate, keeper looks awful. Spilling shots all over the place.Made a couple of decent stops though but still...

Germany have 12 players aged 23 or under in their squad. It's honestly frightening.

12 players Under 23, Only 2 are 30 or above. Klose is 34 and Tim Wiese is not even needed.

Their best fullback is just 28 and other 3 defenders are just 23. Keeper is 26.

The player holding their midfield (Bastian) is just 27. They have got scary team, such a young core.
