Just thought I'd make a thread to discuss all the fixtures for tonight.

Lindergaard (recently linked with Manchester United) came on in goal after Nani's first goal after Sorensen picked up an injury, and I'll tell you what he has looked amazing. 4 or 5 world class saves from Ronaldo and one from Moutinho. He made one slight mistake when he fumbled a bouncing shot but got down quickly to block the rebound. Very impressed with him.

I'd rather not discuss Euro 2012, after watching Pants in Prague.
 
Nice to see N.Ireland get a result against the Italians.

Pitty Mackie didn't get a goal on his first game for the Scots.

and I lol'ed at Wales.
 
I lol'd more at San Marino.

But I heard that ROI were 3-0 down at one point, in which case it was a great fightback. Unlucky in the end. Also, hearing Scotland played VERY defensively..

Yeah we were 3 0 down. We didnt deserve anything in the match :(
 
LOL.

Very happy with Portugal's performance. As I stated in the OP, Anders Lindergaard looks a very good talent. Made a handful of world class saves. Looks like he could be a very good replacement for VDS, but of course this is only one game.

Bit harsh we controlled the first 10mins and the last 20. There first goal shouldnt have counted but neither should keanes. Losing by one goal to russia isnt that bad but why does trap play paul green?

long was alright when he moved to the right he did nothing on the left though

France - Romania (GO Romania!)
Israel - Croatia (for Israel can't play Benayoun and Ben Haim, we must take 3 points from there)

Long's quicker, much quicker.. ;)

So he can win the ball in the air, head it over the defence and run to get it ;)

I think Long & Doyle would be better together upfront. Keane only plays because of his reputation in my opinion.
