Ah well, we overestimated the Czechs. Its OK though, we will beat Spain :)....

Who am I kidding, we are gonna get pumped :'(

Israel - Croatia - 1-2 ( Kranjcar 2)

The ireland team were a disgrace. I was there and all they did was hoof it. apparently dunne came out after the game and said that they were told to play football but nobody had the courage to.
My ratings were
Given-5 just kicked it and was at fault for first goal. I dont blame him though as its his first international mistake.
O'Shea-5 you think he would have liked to play football
Dunne -7.5 was very good and i felt he was unlucky
St ledger-6 was decent and i cant really complain
Kilbane-3 how he has won 107 caps is beyond me. feel for hull with him and mcshane as their fullbacks
Lawrence-3 awful while he was on the pitch
Green-5.5 dont like him but was effective for periods at what he does
Whelan-4 Was yards of the ball. why play aguy who is clearly not sharp
Mcgeady-7 was our main attacking threat. If he didnt play in russia he would have been more unkown
Doyle-7 works very hard and is unreal in the air
Keane-4 terrible and lazy. How he can watch as doyle/long kill themselves running
subs:
Gibson-5 did nothing while on
Fahey-6.5 did well when he came on and made some good passes and runs
Long-7.5 changed the game when he came on. scored one set up one.​


Was men against boys tbh and besides a 20 minute spell at the end of the game russia controlled it
I felt the ref was quite pro russia​
 
Wow i think Friday summed up scotish football as a whole, *****, negative and pointless.

What do yous think will happen to the Serbians after tonight? I thought the days of 3-0 walkovers were finally behind us.

hopefully they get the book thrown at them, they went straight for the italian fans with flares, and then at the goalkeeper, narrowly missing him

Missing a peno and was just awful overall, He should have stayed at Celtic or gone to a Mid-Table Premeirship team he is not good enough for Spurs anymore

Why did the Serbian players go over to their fans and start applauding them?

He's just always off the pace in games, that was always the one thing he had, he never had exceptional pace or finishing, but was very clever and always one step ahead. Not anymore though, something must have happened at Liverpool thats changed him. Heard some rumours about Drugs :/

Can't see what premier league would possibly want him though, considering his 65k wages

Noting to do with drugs just out of his peak now and not coping well is all, He needs to go to a club that needs him and is first team he is getting the odd game here and their and that cant be good for his confidence which results in bad form
 
pretty good result for Ireland yesterday considering Doyle was injured. Shame Robbie Keane was awful else we would have won :(

Not the best when ya consider we missed a peno and Robbie had a stinker, Long and Doyle up top for next match show Keane that noyone is undroppable

They were trying to calm them down or something. Don't know how that was supposed to work considering they were attacked by their own fans earlier and their goalie was taken to a hospital for some extra checks.

There's really something weird going on between their fans and the team. I watched the Serbia-Estonia game on TV and the only thing I could hear most of the time besides the commentators was the Serbian coach. Nothing from the stands. After we scored our second goal you could hear about a 100 Estonians outsinging a stadium full of Serbs. After the matched they booed out their own team and the referees and then gave a standing ovation to the Estonians.
