I think that Portugal has better players but Bosnia have a better team mainly because of our coach and most of the players think that they are the best in the world and that they don't need to try hard to win because they just try hard when the money calls unfortunately

so bosnia will go forward sadly

Team with Ronaldo, Nani, Moutinho, Coentrao, Quareshma, Almeida, Raul Meireles is lethal. TBH I dont even think its up for debate, only set back would be Portugal not playing as a team.

Same could be said of Bosnia though.
 
Seems like a lot of people have forgotten we beat Bosnia in the play-offs to the World Cup fairly comfortably with Queiroz as our manager. We've got a stronger squad than Bosnia all over (bar the striker department, but Almeida/Postiga/Gomes are hardly terrible) and if we play well then we should beat them over two legs.

I'm happy we got Bosnia tbh, much prefer them to Montenegro and Turkey. Honestly think we'll beat them rather comfortably, I'll say a 2/3 goal cushion over the two legs.

Ireland are a much better team than Czech Republic at this moment in time

That's not true, and in fact thats pretty dismissive of them. lets hope portugal dont go into the game thinking like that, they'd be sent packing

I do believe that will not happen. And i am positive that Portugal will beat them, even if we lose there, we will end up winning here, and we will go to the Euro.

I'm Portuguese but that is very naive!
Dzeko, Pjanic, Stilic and Mendunjanin are all very good players. Don't forget Misimovic and Dzeko were Wolfsburg's forward line (along with Grafite) in their title winning season so they have chemistry.

I agree that on a whole our forward line is stronger than their's (imo), but it's not as clear cut as you're making it out to be.

We should win, but it will not be easy.

That is possibly the most naive, ridiculous and ill-informed statement I've ever seen of this forum.

Dzeko, Pjanic, Misimovic, Stilic, Mendunjanin, Ibisevic, Zahirovic...****, I know from personal experience that Sasa Papac can even be a threat going forward. Bosnia are more than a match for Portugal, and I fancy them for an upset too. And after the arrogance you lot have displayed, I hope they do too.

I don't. I support Scotland only, but I hope Spain and Germany do well at EURO 2012 becuase I admire the way they play. However, I do hope that Bosnia go through because they don't deserve anything less imho. The way they've transformed themselves in recent years to the level of taking of point home from Paris is remarkable, and deserves a EURO place. So I will be backing Bosnia to win, not out of contempt for Portugal but admiration for Bosnia.
 
Let me get something straight, for you, is Bosnia a match for England? this is a general question.

Yes they would be.They have a similar problem to Portugal...great individual players but they work as individuals and not as a team.
May be biased seeing as I'm Irish. I admit if we played them they would walk all over us.

As I said earlier though. 7 teams are in the top 40. They dont get there for no reason. Theres going to be no easy winners or clear favourites.

Any of the Irish fans think we may struggle against Estonia? We always tend to rise our game for bigger opponents and struggle against lesser sides. We only beat Andorra 2-0 at home and Estonia are a lot better than that.

I am sorry, you double posted, you deserve an infraction, i believe, unless the rules have changed.

Try again what ? We usually beat england, a side that when it comes against us, we're usually SUPERIOR.
