Euro Cup Squad Registration - i dont have 4 players trained by club!

Just took over man city in 2018 and im stuck by a must respond message.
I have to send off the squad registration thing but i do not have 4 players trained by club, i cant sign anyone as i cant progress until ive responded.
What on earth do i do apart from resign/start a new save?

I think the only thing you can do is leave a few spaces empty in your squad registration. So instead of registrating 25 players, take some players out of the registration. The empty places will be used up for the places for trained players and you will be able to continue.
