Kenwright defends it, because he has no other choice. I wish he'd just put his ****** hands up, and say it's time for me to go, someone with decent money come in and buy this ******* great club. If he holds on to us much longer we could quite easily become the next Leeds.

Small Team........Still finished above u though didnt we, and got in europe a few times on money we found down the back of the sofa!
Been really poor this season but when we are being outspent by teams like wolves n sunderland u know its bad, need a new chairman or investment badly

to do a Leeds you have to spend **** loads of money and then have no way of getting it back ;)

Haha that's true, I meant in terms of relegation and the demise of what was once such a great club. Not that you won't be again, I'm sure you're on the way back up, just may take a while..

Everton and their money situation is a mystery to me. They have been in the top flight since Jesus was a lad, so plenty of TV money which is substantial. They get a full house every week. Made a fortune selling the likes of Rooney and Lescott. Don't really have any big earners at the club. Don't spend much on new players, yet were constantly hearing from Kenwright how the club is financially struggling and they need investment desperately. Something doesn't add up.

Heard something the other day..

Since Moyes has been at the club, Everton's debt has gone from something like 9 million to 55 million, not sure if it a fact but it's odd if it is. Moyes had hardly spent a penny. :S

TBH i wouldn't trust Bill Kenwright as far as i could throw him.

Neither would I but to be fair to the guy he did 'stabalise' the club. He has to let go now and find someone who is willing to invest, if he hangs on for much longer, things could turn ugly for Everton. And, as a Liverpool fan, even I don't want to see that.

Just wondering what the balance would be to be unhealthy at the club. 70 million? 80 million? I'd trust me dog more with the finances tbh. Just fed up tbh. All I'm reading about is increasing debt, debt increased, wage bill 69% of turnover.......its well and truly beyond a joke. BK must think the fans are mugs.

Is it possible that Kenwright is siphoning money from the club into his pockets? Hmmm.
