Everton sign striker Joao Silva on a three-year deal from Desportivo Das Aves of Portugal's second division.

Never heard of him, but at 20 and 2nd top goalscorer in the Portuguese Second Division and being dubbed the new Paulista, at £750k can't be a bad deal at all

Only a young chap, a tall chap, but second division of Portugal's football won't be very good or challenging of league me thinks

And probably got it badly wrong.

Should have signed Djalo. Now there is a thought. (A)

He has -7 potential on FM10 btw. I'm not sure about him but at least it's a signing lol

Hey I bet that most of you thought Arteta and Pienaar wouldn't have been great but just look whats happened ;) Even if he is poor, we can sell him for 3x as much as we signed him for, since he's just signed for a top 8 side in the best league in the world, and is young.

Joao Silva and Jermaine Beckford, Everton are going to have a quality strike force next season.

If he's scored goals, worth the risk as a squad player.

Everton have a lot of strikers now.
