Yes. Its normal. Look at Arsenal's results from last season. Almost every match they lost in the season to "lesser" opposition, they had the majority of possession and often more shots. Like Wenger, it seems you don't recognize that results don't come down to stats. Look at Leicester in the season they won the title - did they ever have the most possession and most shots in the match? No, they took advantage of the opposition. And that is what is consistently happening to you. Because you are allowing it to.

You are almost certainly taking an attacking approach and leaving yourself open. The AI is taking advantage of that.

If you run into the same thing every version, perhaps taking the same approach every version of FM isn't the correct approach....? Something to consider.

There are clear patterns here though?

In a lot of them, you score first, but concede either straight after or toward the end of matches. DO something. You know they'll attack at some point, so make changes to account for this.

No idea why you included the Huddersfield game, because they took a very early 2-0 lead so will have defended their lead for most of the game.

You don't show anything apart from you having more shots and possession - nothing to actually show the quality of those shots.

If it wasn't we wouldn't see teams playing different philosophies and styles. If they do, it's because all of them can win matches.
Di Mateo's Chelsea won the Champions League by soaking a huge load of shots by Barcelona and Bayern and taking the few chances presented to them.
