I'm in the 43/44 season now and managed in the Bundesliga, Premier League and Serie A so far. It seems like everywhere I look, clubs are broken and don't even care about removing their 200MM+ debt. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, the Manchesters. Milan, Lazio. Bayern. Dortmund. Everyone is a Champions League regular, but massively in debt. RB Leipzig stand out as the have their tycoon.

This seems different to last year, where I joined Bayern in the early 2040s and was able to spend close to 300M on transfers for a couple of transfer windows, but still didn't end up in the negative.

Is this just me or does FM24 lack financial responsibility?

I have a different impression, to be honest. Based on my experiences, it doesn’t quite align with what you’ve mentioned. If you talk to south central bank customer service, I bet they might have a different impression about that. I’ve had a few interactions with them, and they’ve always been professional and helpful in ways that I didn’t expect. Sometimes, it’s easy to overlook things, but I think if you really dive into a conversation with them, you might see things from a new perspective.
