It's something I've thought about recently and just wondering if any of you guys know. Do experienced players have an impact on the rest of the squad? for example if I kept Kolo Toure instead of bringing in a young prospect will that benefit my team and rub of on younger players with him just being in the first team?

Hmm, only if the experienced player's personality is of the "good" variety.
I've often seen my more experienced players rally the team during team meetings and around the end of the season, when we're making that final push for the title.
And I'm pretty sure it's because their mental attributes are far more refined than the younger players'.
The experienced player will also be a good tutor for the youngsters.

Think its important to have a mixture of both. For reasons stated in the above post. Also have to remember your experience players will get weaker physically so youngsters are important for rotation and squad depth.

I wonder if Baloteli would be good as a experienced player :D
