Can someone explain how the - (minus) potential on the editor actually means

this isnt exact but basically:
players have current potential (CA) and potential ability (PA)
players if played and trained right can reach their potential and turn out to be wonder players.
a player with -10 potential will be world class. their PA will be between 180-200 i think, making them potentially unreal. -9 are like 150-180 PA i think and turn out to be class players also. the trend continues from -10 to -1

you want to go for players with -10 and -9 potential
