Is this the 6.0.3 patch? If it is you just put it into the football manager 2006 folder....Does anyone know where to put player retain pack

If you have patched your game then it wont work, When i made the patch it was for 6.0.1. I have mentioned doing the side all over again but nobody replied to the post so..

anyway if your game is not patched you can upload it to sigames/fm06/data/db

just put the player retain pack into
C:\Programs\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db
and then it works!
You can choose what players you like to retain before starting the game in OPTIONS.
