Extremely Annoyed !!

I log on today to get a message on my profile from "handyfernandy" 6 hours ago asking if he can use my skin (rd4) as a base for his, I start to think ok it may look good.. but then when I look at it I see this..

Which was uploaded THREE days ago, so hes asked for my permission a LONG time after he's actually done it. Then I look at his blog (Its in Indonesian) and google translates part of it to this: "Finally finished my skin also want,, hehe like" ..... MY skin !!!

After that I download the skin, rate it as 'F' as all he's changed is the main menu background, the Zidane pic and the in-game wallpaper.. NOTHING else. When loaded under the skin details it says 'Author: Handy Fernandy' which i'm not too impressed about as I spent HOURS! making this and he's edited 2 things and called it his own... Not happy.......

So after i've spent HOURS creating a skin and somebody else changes 2 pics and puts it as their own I have no right to be annoyed?

It is a skin, Your acting like he shagged your GF or something,

Making an ew thread when all you had to was PM a member of staff.

You should be happy he decided to use your skin to base his on, He clearly liked it, He did credit you at the top of the download page

I don't see how you're being unsympathising to someone who has clearly laboured over making something that took him hours to make,only to find someone else plagurising it and cheating his way to make people think it's his.

And obviously,r1cky cares.
 
Scott grow up. I'm not getting into a debate over why I should be annoyed at somebody stealing my work, post somewhere else.

Skins take ages to create. Lots of time and patience.

What have you ever contributed to this site? other than your constant trolling off course.

Entertainment off course, and a realism that put things into perspective, it is a skin, not the end of the world. Does he think, this is going to stop the guy, putting it on other websites, or using it himself?

So why make a thread over it.
 
Ill close the thread now. Skin deleted. In future just PM a mod and we will take care of it.
