Fabregas?

Started a new season with Arsenal and about 16 games into the season, I can't seem to get the best of fabregas! On my other games he's always done tremendously against me and in the league but he just won't play well for me, his AV rating is 6.04 with 2 assists and 1 goal in 15 games, which is terrible!
I'm playing him in a 4-4-2 fluid formation as an andvanced playmaker - attacking. He plays alongside Moussa Sissoko and Sissoko is having a good season. I don't want to change the formation or tactics really because I am top of the league and still in all competitions, just want some advice on what to do with Fabregas.

Toughy. I've never had him as bad as that, i usually moan when is average rating is 6.90 with about 10 assists and 5 goals in 30 games. I also have him as adv. playmaker in an attacking, very fluid 4-3-3. It hasn't been working especially well, and he never gets goals despite my changing the slide bars, to make him more attacking. However, and i admit to this being against Barnet, i put him on the field in place of Nasri in a friendly, i adjusted his setting a little to make his passing more direct, in 5 minutes he set up Chamakh and got on the end of a Chamakh through ball to score himself, again, this was against Barnet, in a friendly, in the last 5 minutes...
