Does FM16/15 facepack and kit work for 17 maybe?

In previous versions it worked, so I think it will do for 17 too.

I've literally just downloaded the DF 2016-2017 facepack from FM Scout and installed it in Football Manager 17 and it works perfectly with no issues

what about logos?

Don't know about older logo's-though I've used older ones in FM 16 and they were perfectly fine. Be worth trying older ones to see if they work.

Also on a sidenote there is a real names fix on the same site (FM Scout) which works aswell

As long as none of the teams / players unique numbers have changed (they haven't since foreveR) then the logos and face packs from 16 will work.

Of course, it will all work. From FM10 nothing has changed, same unique numbers for players, clubs ect.
