Failed to Set Up Graphics error

Hey all,

Now I had this same problem on 09, and I definitely remember having to delete some file to make the game work again. This is my problem. When I go to load FM10, it comes up with an error - Cannot Run Game: Failed to Set Up Graphics System. Sometimes, the game won't even come up with this - help me please!!

I think you need a better graphics card but i'm not sure mate

Could you try downloading the latest version of directx?

I'm positive I have the latest DirectX (Windows 7, get me ). However, if there was a new one, wouldn't everyone be up in arms about this? I'm the first person ever to comment about this sort of problem. I sincerely remember having to delete a file on 09 when I had the same problem. Help me please!!

Okay guys, I downloaded the latest version and still no joy. It lets me get to the match screen, and after doing the team talk, it says "setting up match" before freezing and then closing, giving me an error message. Any ideas?

Have you tried un-installing the game and re-installing it?

Not yet,, I'm CERTAIN I deleted a file of some sort on 09 - I'm scouring the forums trying to find a solution.
