How do you get a son in the game what they appear as?

Its totally random, some manage for 50 years and don't get a son and if you do get one, he'l look like a regen cause basically, he is one. So sadly, he won't inherit your thin mustache and goatee.

i got a regen in 2013 called matthew allen and then in 2015 i got another called mike allen. both born in salford and as soon as mike came in the game they immediately had each other as favoured personnel

In my Chelsea save I got regen named Adam LAMPARD. Maybe he's Lampard's son
