This idea is far fetched as the title says.

Is it possible to get lots of random free transfers on trial to play in friendlies so I can get more money, since I am in debt. (Playing as Watford). Doesn't really matter to me if I lose but I guess it will also give some reserve players first team chances.

I just want to know if this would work, or is there some sort of limitation eg. limit of trial players.

because playing against big teams (Chelsea, Man Utd etc.) will bring in more money at the gates

I dont see why not. Are you saying that you want to get loads of trialists so you can play loads of games and get some cash. I can't see any issues with that.

Quite an original idea that could in theory work, however some of the big teams may not want to schedule friendlies during the season.

use any youth players or codgers in the reserves - might give them something to smile about

That is actually a great idea, however in the long term you should nt enter your reserves into a league and just use them for every friendly, also try to play away, you don't want this messing your pitch up! Good idea though, will definitely try it out
