Who's your favorite manager in real life ? Mine is Louis Van Gaal. Not because of his managerial abilities, ( witch are of course top class ), but because of his attitude and life joy. At the end of the season he was happy like a little boy and that's what I like about him the most ;).

A few examples for it :

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HecB-3_omak&feature=related"]YouTube- Bierdusche für Louis van Gaal Meisterfeier 2010[/ame]

When I should pick my top three, then .....

....2nd - Jose Mourinho - Just because of his managerial ability.

3rd - Guus Hiddink I guess, same story

Lots of people like S.A.F. very much just because he's the manager of ManU. I don't really like him because of this - have you ever saw Alex Ferguson lose without blaming the referee ? Have you ? No ? Ermm ?

Ok then, who's your favorite manager ?

I enjoy the Van Gaal stories like;
Luca Toni was slouched on his chair he went over grabbed him by the ear and lifted him up:)

Anyway, Mourinho is my favourite by a mile, and O'Neil because he is local.

Maradonna, coz he's a ruthless **** and runs over press for the fun of it ;)

It's your choice but I think Maradona is an awful manager. He's so dum . But .. you know it yourself who you choose

a) I know Maradonna is god-awful manager, but he's a character, and he is VERY interesting to watch, tbh, just because he's such a complete nutjob

b) as the first post said: "Not because of his managerial abilities", which is kinda like what I said above, but meh

My real choice is Jose Mourinho, because he is a top class manager, but also a smart-*** and a ****-stirrer, kinda like Maradonna without the stupidity and drugs

I hate him as a manager simply for the fact hes denying me the opportunity to see Zanetti and Cambiasso at the World Cup :(

As for my favourite, im not sure. I quite like John Hughes at Hibs, seems like a great guy, always entertaining on the radio and I also love Craig Levein for everything, seems like a great manager, intelligent, thinks things through, appears to put in a lot of work generally whether it be tactics, scouting etc

Has to be Alex.
He takes no **** and likes a bottle of wine before the match.

Walter smith his managerial abilities are good he's won 9 titles for us now (Rangers) I think and he done quite well @ Everton and in his time as Scotland boss. He is honest but very friendly and down to earth, I live in Helensburgh in Scotland he lives less than a mile away. Not a huge house or anything yeah obviously it's nice but just an example of him being down to earth. So yeah Walter for me!!!;)

Roberto Mancini
Cesare Prandelli
Ian Holloway
Vincent Del Bosque
