Fairly similar to players. Win matches and trophies and they'll start liking you. In a Man Utd save I have, I have won everything possible for 3 seasons and about 90% of my backroom staff list me as favoured personnel. You could also ask them to recommend potential staff/players (I'm sure you can do that?)
