Past - We've had MANY great players, but I haven't seen a lot of them play, so I'm going to have to go for Alonso. Amazing passer of the ball, a true great.

Present - Joe Cole ;D Nah, obviously there's Ste Gerrard because he's out standing, and one of our best players ever (excluding our last season) hasn't let us down. Carragher would be close, as would Agger, but I'm going for Reina. I love that fella

Lampard currently, such a loyl and dedicated player

Drogba-A Beast

Past - King Kenny Dalglish, one of the best players the English league has seen. Personally loved Robbie Fowler also.

Present - Steven Gerrard.

for me, in the past, the whole squad that won the 50th title, just love em all so much, but my favourites gonna have to be Stefan Klos, decidated, talented, loyal, true legend. at present, i'd have to say madjid bougherra.. class defender, been a rock at the back for rangers throughout the seasons

Past - Henrik Larsson
Present - It was Boruc but it's probably Scott Brown now.

Past favourite: Wes Hoolahan or Davey Rogers purely for this goal [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIxHcILzZEEl"]YouTube- Davey Rogers[/ame]
Favourite now: Dean Delaney because he was with us during the good times before and now during the bad times

Sheffield Wednesday
Past: Benito Carbone
Present: Lee Grant

Past: Peter Schmeichel
Present: Ryan Giggs

Reading - Jamie Cureton! mainly because he literally lived two doors away from me when he played for Reading and the fact i support Reading :P

As a Norwich fan... Mate, he's ****!

Anyway, I agree with the TC, Zola for past, Essien for present.
For Norwich, Huckerby for past, Hoolahan for present.

Past: Martin Laursen

Dedicated, determined, inspirational, physical: legend.

I'll forgive him the dives. I'll forgive him the petulance. I'll forgive him that he doesn't have half of Jimmy Milner's work ethic. I'll forgive him everything so long as he keeps coming up with stuff like this:

EDIT: That said, it probably isn't my favourite Ashley Young moment. Gabby you mug...

Past - Chris Sutton, John Hartson, Pierre van Hooijdonk, Jorge Cadete, Paolo di Canio and Stilian Petrov all come close, but you can't refuse to pick Henrik Larsson. Will always be incomparable to Kris Boyd.

Present - Is tough, because most of them are pish, and Boruc is away. :(

I'll pick Paddy McCourt, but I'm hoping Joe Ledley will take over that spot. :P

Past: Roberto Di Matteo
