Back in the big time

As a founding member of the Bundesliga, FCK played from 1963 to 1996 uninterrupted in the top division. It has won four German championships, two DFB-Pokals, and one DFL-Supercup, and historically is among the most successful football clubs in Germany, currently occupying tenth place in the All-time Bundesliga table. The club's international performances include reaching the Champions Leaguequarter-finals in 1999 as well as two participations in the UEFA Cup semi-finals. Kaiserslautern won the German championship in the 1997–98 season as a newly promoted team, which is unique in German football.

Targets for this save;

1. Promotion back to Bundesliga
2. European Football like the old times
3. League Trophy.
4. De-throne the big boys

Looking at the club and its facilities it's more than capable of bouncing back to the Bundesliga back to back. With some good youth and training facilities this will be key in getting us they're as funds as you could imagine will be pretty limited at the start.

Also going in our favour is the huge 49,000 capaicity stadium which again, will help us along the way with the help of a good cup run this stadium could easily be filled.

Now the squad, looks pretty strong for this sort of division with 2/3 stand out players. With 1/2 signings this team can possibly go on and win the league despite being predicted to finish 2nd.

The most notable players are; Lucas Spalvis great for the poachers role and already worth £1.5mil I can't see this young lad staying around for long so keep hold for as long as possible.

Another player of great stats is 28yr old Mads Albaek His stats are well, ideal for the CM position he'll be key in this division and being 28, he definitely has experience on his side.

Our first two games we got off to a rocky start in the
division. Going down 2-1 against Aalen.

Our 2nd game we're starting to get our act together with a
1-1 draw against Cottbus, which in fairness we dominated the game, as well as missing a penalty, Cottbus managed to sneak a 89th minute equaliser against the run of play.

Then came along 4 successive wins on the bounce which threw us up to 2nd in the league and hitting some good form right before a tough home fixture against RB Leipzig.

The Leipzig game was tough to take, after going 1-0 RB wasn't getting much of the ball in the 25th minute they nicked a equaliser from a mistake from our GK, I then realised the flood gates would open. It wasn't until the 40th minute where the game was turned on it's head, I sloppy tackle from Ozgur Ozdemir gave away the penalty and received a yellow card in the process, he clearly thought it was the wrong decision and was booked in quick succession and received his marching orders.

And from that yellow card, our team just couldn't handle Werner and Co, and they nicked the tie with two quick goals and killed the tie off, and we eventually went down
3-1.
