Maybe I have simply ignored this in previous iterations, but this year's FM I've noticed a "yearly player wage expenditure" component. View attachment 122791
I'm confused. How is this figure determined? How can clubs with greater wage bills not be subjected to this? Is this something that I can ignore? And I didn't really go crazy in the summer after having won with the league, seeing how my wage bill is still only about 2.62m/week.
