My Rangers and Spurs stories were ruined, my laptop broke and I had to buy a new one..:( Anyway my final story will be with Liverpool where I aim to repeat success years gone-by! :)

Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos has been confirmed as the Liverpool manager. This is the World Cup winner's first venture into management after he confirmed his retirement as a player. He was widely expected to join Anzhi Machalakaka's (?) of staff but he was offered the chance on Merseyside to take Liverpool to glory. "Liverpool is a big club." he said. "They have the potential to play in the Champions League and history suggests the same. They have some great players, but I will look to bring one or two in. I aim to win the league in three years but it's a very competitive league! The stadium is famous and the supporters are great, I hope I can bring glory to this big club." Ian Ayre, managing director said, "Roberto (Carlos) is a well known football star, and we believe his knowledge in the game will bring success to our club. Obviously it's his first managerial job so it's risky, but we believe it will be a successful one too. Also, a message to Liverpool fans, we have a big surprise for you very soon!"

liverpoolfc.com can confirm the signing of South-African Andile Jali and Englishman Ryan Shrawcross. They both join on five-year deals.
Andile, 21, joins from Orlando Pirates for a fee of £190,000. Ryan, 23, joins from Stoke City for a considerably larger fee of £7,000,000. Andile said "I am so happy to join. I had lots of offers from great clubs, but none so as much so as Liverpool. I can't wait to make my debut in front of the fans, I'm very excited. I will give everything for this team and I thank the manager for making this happen." Ryan said "I'm very sad to leave Stoke as I had a great relationship with the fans, fellow players but most of all Tony Pulis. He has always kept faith in me no matter what, which is why I'm here. Liverpool are a big club, a good club, and the fans are great too. The manager was a great player and I can't wait to train alongside Luiz Suarez and Steven Gerrard. I hope I can be a part of this club being successful in the future." Shawcross will don the no. 6 shirt, while Andile will wear the no.12 jersey. Roberto said "I'm happy to welcome these two to the club, they have great potential and help strengthen the squad."

Liverpool have confirmed their plans to expand Anfield to a capacity of around 51,000. Ian Ayre said "Construction should be finalised before the start of the next season. We are delighted to announce the stadium expansion. We have many fans who can not make games as tickets are sold out very often. It will also improve the noise we make at games, thus more support for the players." Roberto Carlos added "This is great for evryone involved with the club."
