Finishing

I'm playing a save with Skála of the Faroe Islands, and have gotten to the point where my squad is beyond stronger than the rest in the country, but I have one problem with winning games. My team cant finish. I just lost to a B team in the cup first round by score of 2-1, but I had 30 shots, 17 on goal. Is this a bug? Do my players just suck at shooting? Please Help
