Great results so far!! Can you please show your tactics!!

Sure thing!

The main tactic I use -It focus's heavily on ball retention and waiting for a opening.

View attachment 287238And my alternative tactic - it's a strikerless formation that is great for controlling the game and the scoresheet.

View attachment 287203With October featuring a much trickier schedule than September, we were going to need to play well and continue our momentum. But with Sturridge's injury and tougher fixtures, it was going to be a full-on month

View attachment 287201Our first fixture of the month was an away game against SL Benfica in the Champions Cup. The game was a seesaw, with the draw being the fair result, we were average, not terrible but far from our best, still we came away with a draw against the top seed in the group.

View attachment 287200Top of the table Chelsea handed us our defeat of the season, with only the loanee's playing well, It had been coming, but its never nice to lose, the stats flattered us and we were lucky to only concede one.

View attachment 287199We were the dominant team on all fronts but it was only thanks to a late Balotelli penalty that we managed to draw, we were missing Sturridge's clinical finishing big time.

View attachment 287197A huge result against a team we were expect to lose heavily to. We played well and the result puts us top of the group at the half way stage.

View attachment 287196We were in charge of the game right from the start but could have and should have scored more. We have been looking good on defense but we aren't scoring enough goals and to make matters worse Gerrard will be out for up to 3 months.

View attachment 287195This injury is a huge blow to the team, as not only is he the Captain, he is also a key player and the best defensive midfielder in the team, this is really going to hamper my plans going forwards.

View attachment 287194First game without Gerrard but we played well, An injury to Lovren and Skrtel being rested gave Vallejo his professional debut with a run on start. Plus Ballotelli put his season tally to 11 goals, and the victory means we advance in the cup

October Overview

A pretty good month considering we have been hampered by injuries and had some tough fixtures, we have scoring twice what we have conceded which is always a good sign. Still there are quite a few injuries in the squad and we aren't scoring as many as I would like, still I can't complain seen we have only had one loss so far this season.

League Table

View attachment 286672
We were sitting in a respectable position of sixth at the start of November, and while were already seven points behind league leaders ManUtd, had the worst goals for in the top seven and several key players out injured. Still we had the 3rd= best defense in the league and were on track to qualify for the Champions League. Plus the board were happy with where we were at in the league.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

With Saul only in on a short term loan, Gerrard leaving at the end of the season and Lucas Leiva not looking up to the standards that Liverpool requires; I needed a new midfielder to partner Henderson and the extremely versatile Emre Can. With experience lacking in the current squad, I was after a player who had a lot of first team experience under their belt and would be able to possibly tutor younger players. I wanted to conclude the signing before the January window so that the player was available right from Jan 1st, I had scanned over dozens of scout reports and had identified two players that seemed ideal candidates.

Javi Martinez - The Bayern Munich central midfielder/defensive midfielder is a world class player who is capable of dominating the midfield and would fit in well is an experienced player, plus he understands the game well and would signing him would show that I mean business, the downsides however were huge; Bayern signed him from Athletic Bilbao 2012 for 32.5 mill so would be wanting to make a large profit, he had been battling injuries this season and he very little interest in joining so I would have to make him an amazing offer of probably 200k+. Still he is a world class player who could offer us a lot.

Aaron Ramsey
- The Arsenal Player is only 23 but has already already notched up 135 appearances for Arsenal and is held in high esteem by Arsène Wenger, who would be unlikely to want to sell him to a rival club like Liverpool, Ramsey could also only play one position and had signed a new contract earlier in the year. But he was a home-grown player and was semi interested in joining so he would want reasonable wages given his ability, was very consistent and was a good athlete. He also had a ability of scoring great goals.

Both were amazing players and both had their pros and cons, but one thing was certain this wasn't going to be cheap transfer, but with money left over and hopefully the backing of the board I could land on of them.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

With the hardly conceding any on defense but only scoring enough to make sure we got the win we were being labelled by some of the media as "to defensive" and while the board and I didn't agree with them a growing number of fans were, We hadn't given anyone a good thrashing all season and the fans were starting to grow tired of a possession based game and wanted to see some fast attacking football. So I discussed it with my backroom team and started working on a new tactic, started training more in attacking and finishing and with the return of Sturridge soon we should hopefully start pleasing the fans and scoring more goals in the process.

View attachment 286294With November being a full on month and quite a few injuries in the team already we were going to need to start hard and fast and avoid any more injuries.

View attachment 286293We got done, absolutely done. It was only thanks to a Moreno gem that we even managed to score. Not the start to the month I had I mind

View attachment 286292This result means that we have now qualified from the group stages with two games in hand, but Balotelli and Vallejo's red cards mean they wont be available for the next game, which means I may have to bring in some reserve players.

View attachment 286291Finally we had given someone a good thrashing, Coutinho and Balotelli were on fire, and Sturrridge got through his return game injury free which was unfortunatly over shadowed by Can getting injured.

View attachment 286290With both teams weaken thanks to injuries on attack but strong in defense this was always destined to be a bore draw with Mignolet picking up the POM.

View attachment 286289We won but another injury this time to Coutinho means that about a 1/3 of the team is now injured stilla win is a win.

View attachment 286288I was delighted with this result not only because we won but because no one got injured, Jesus Vallejo has had some wonderful games since being called up due to Lovren's injury and will probably still feature in the first team even when Lovren is back.

November Overview

Even though the team is fatigued and we have lots of injuries, it was still a pretty good month; only conceding once and scoring 7 times, I'm hoping next month the injury gods are a lot kinder and we can really push on and
get ourselves into a champions cup qualification spot.
