Good luck mate, poll added as requested. :)

Have you seen any of the games?

What makes you say that you like it?

i like unpredictability of it. 6 teams can win the league each season. Not really sure though

Up the Sundowns (H)

The Following players have been selected for International duties:
South Africa:
Intumeleng Khune
Jimmy Tau

Zimbabwe
Onismore Bhasera
Tinashe Nengomasha

Burundi
Valeri Nahayo

Unfortunately Valeri Nahayo was the only one that actually played and made a solid performance.

SAA SUPER 8 Top 8 vs BidVest Wits University
View attachment 57386
Totally disgusted with the team. We should have won that match easily and we created so many chances! We are knocked out of the tournament and the fans are not happy. wee did however get 80 000GBP for participating. Although it was an away game, it was obvious that there were more Kaizer Chiefs fans than Wits.

WITS TOO CLEVER FOR AMAKHOSI

The start of the SAA Super 8 has already caused an upset when BidVest Wits beat Kaizer Chiefs 4-2 on penalties at the full capacity-BidVest Stadium. In an interview, Chiefs manager, Wes Schroeder expressed his disgust with the team and said that these are the type of games that should be taken advantage of and we let it slip. BidVest Wits opened up the scoring via a Sibu Mahlangu strike which left Khune guessing. Chiefs notched up a gear in the second half as Zimbabwean midfielder, Tinashe Nengomasha scored.Chiefs were denied what looked like an obvious penalty late in the game but the ref turned it down. It was too little to late and it went to penalties. Chiefs players must have had the boots on the wrong foot as they squandered numerous penalties. Bafana Bafana Coach. Carlos Alberto Parreira was seen in the VIP box scouting certain players. Chiefs will play Ajax Cape Town in the Charity cup final on the 19th of August

GOOD NEWS

We have accumulated 26 956 season tickets. Not bad considering they worth R20 a ticket (1.75 quid)

TELKOM CHARITY CUP FINAL vs Ajax Cape Town
View attachment 57400
We won our first peice of silverware for the season. For the 12th time we are the Charity cup winners. It was a perfect footballing day with a brilliant match with 2 closely rated teams. It took till the 92nd minute when a handball cost Ajax a penalty. Torrealba cooly took it and sealed the win. 30K prize money though?! Nice Capacity at soccer city.

haha. yeah manchester united and spurs kept sending their reserve team and they used to win 4-0 but chiefs beat them once on pens. manchester city's full squad lost to chiefs last year

Yeah, I was at the City vs. Chiefs game at Loftus. The atmosphere was amazing, and this coming from a Pirates fan :P
Enjoying the story so far dude, it is really tough buying players in SA, perhaps stick it out in the first season and you should be able to pick up a few players at the end of the season.

nice story Weskat, i do not support or watch PSL at all (i was born in SA and I currently live in Durban)
but good to see someone starting something different! if you want some help on players let me know, will try and help! nice read so far, keep it up!

I wasn't in SA at that time and I wouldn't know. Never been to a local game-live too far from any clubs and it's not the done thing to go watch low league football here. Hopefully a PSL win and CAF win will create some African awareness and maybe football league players

CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCH 2 vs Raja Casablanca

CAF match went very well at an almost full Loftus Stadium. We really dominated the game and their own goal just made it worse for them.

PSL MATCH 2 vs Supersport United

A rivalry game which is always heated at Loftus. A bumper crowd and a good performance by Torrealba led to a very nice 2-0 victory

Again a good win and good crowd. But Torrealba is injured for 3 weeks.:( Sparta Rotterdam coach Frans Adelaar was seen at Loftus rumoured to be looking at Chiefs star Simphiwe Tshabalala.

Very comfortable 1st with a game in hand. Khune has been brilliant this month not letting a single goal through

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Jimmy Tau has been brilliant in our defense with an avg rating of 7.89

*I forgot to save the previous save but the only difference is a draw instead of a win against Supersport United

Tunis were tipped favourites and it clearly showed. Bad game

Away games in Africa are always hard and today showed. Another slump which means that chance of qualification is slim.

Quite honestly one of the worst games I have seen on FM10. A relegation stricken team kill us off as if we have played football before. Whats worse is that we were under the European eye.

This nightmare is getting worse. We lose again and things aren't looking good for me. Time for some tactical changes.

CAF MATCH 5 vs ES Tunis

Another loss, but this time it's justified. We played a strong team and played well. Still a loss though. We are out of the CAF Champions league now. Continental hopes gone.

The biggest derby in Africa and arguably the world. Where one country is divided between black and yellow. A must win. But we lost and that sums up our month, winless. Yes, it's bad. Fans are angry and so it the boss. Next month better be good or i'm out.

CHIEFS IN DIRE STRAITS

Kaizer Chiefs have experience their worst results in history. Fans have shown signs of disaproval and one fan has said the reason why things are going down is because of the fact that the manager, Wes Schroeder, is not a South African.

Thanks I really appreciate that(A)

Yeah, it's been a really bad month. I don't know what happened! We just let them run over us. Especially in the Derby where we had to win on home turf. But we will see how next month goes. I'm going to have a good look at the training and the team. I know one of the big problems was that Torrealba the star player was injured.

Um if you got a job offer at say Leeds or someone would you accept?

No because I didn't make a story involving England. I made this story to try prove South African Football since they are hosting the world cup. If I got another SA job I would accept but you won't find a better club except for Sundows-they have lots of cash

No i meant in later life in game if you was sacked would you consider taking up another manager role elsewhere or stay in SA and wait for another job? Say in Nigeria or somewhere? Well if they are in the game

I would stay in SA. There is no Nigerian League

Tough month, but I am sure you will come back strongly. South African teams in general are very inconsistent.
