COUNTY CLINCH TITLE

Notts County have won the Sky Bet League Two title with a massive 104 points, smashing the previous points record in the process

The Magpies clinched their title with an impressive end to the season, winning their final 5 games to pull away from the chasing pack

The Magpies finished a huge 17 points clear of their nearest rivals Stevenage, 21 clear of 4th placed Leyton Orient and 32 clear of 8th placed Newport County as the Magpies seaed a playoff spot in early March

Conuty were lead to the title by the imperious performances of key players such as Regan Booty (20 assists), Dapo Mebude (16 goals) and Alfie Whiteman (20 clean sheets)

Hawkins' side scored a massive 93 goals and only allowed 33 making them the top scorers and the meanest defense

This bodes well for their assault on League One next term
